Munster Doubles and Mixed

Well done to the players who represented Munster yesterday in the interprovincial Grade A and over 50s.

Munster Grade A inter Pro team. The Kilmac players are Eoin and Ciara Walsh. The team were runners-up in their competition.

The second photo is the Munster over 50 team with Kilmac players Martin Walsh and Trina Keoghan.

Ronan Dunford and his partner PJ Kiely (Tourin) were winners of the Grade G Mens Doubles competition in the Munster Competition.

Mixed League Finals

On Thursday (3 April 2025) night we held our Mixed league finals. There were super matches in all sections. Many thanks to the League Secretaries for their time and effort and thanks to Waterford President Jeanne McNamara who presented the prizes. Many thanks to Brendan Meghan who sponsored the event.

What a great weekend of badminton!!

To everyone who entered, played, supported, baked, cooked, bought raffle tickets, umpired we are beyond thankful to you all for your continued support to our club!

We held the Melissa Keith Memorial Cup on Saturday and the Hella Weber-Doyle Memorial Cup and the Kiersey Cup on Sunday. We would like to thank Tom and Cian for coming to present trophies. It is an honour and a privilege for us to pay tribute to both Hella and Melissa every year.

Lastly we want to extend a huge thanks to the Kiersey family who have given our club unwavering support for many years! Jim, Marie and Family, we sincerely thank you.

All of the games this weekend were just thrilling, the standard was so high and it was neck and neck with lots of sets finishing at 21-20 with the dreaded call “next score wins!”. Everyone that played put on a masterclass of badminton and we want to say a huge congratulations to all of our worthy winners and finalists!!

We hope you all enjoyed the weekend just as much as we did and we hope to see you all again next year.
